Interested in supporting our research at Bear Divide? We need your help! The Bear Divide Banding Station was started as a grass-roots, self-funded research project by local researchers. Despite a growing list of collaborators, the station does not receive regular or reliable funding as it does not yet operate as a non-profit organization, nor is it affiliated with an academic institution. Grants from sponsors have helped grow our project and made certain collaborations possible, but donations from our visitors and in-kind contributions from our volunteers are what have kept us going long-term!
We accept in-person donations at the banding station during our field season, late March to mid-May. Not able to visit the station but still want to support from afar? For year-round donations or other ways to contribute, please contact us directly at bandbeardivide@gmail.com.
What will your donation fund? Your financial support will help us cover project-related costs throughout the season including equipment and supplies, operational costs, personnel costs, data management and analysis, research and monitoring, and education and outreach. We cannot sustain this project without your help!
Merch
Vinyl stickers and t-shirts with our logo will be available for purchase at the banding station during the field season late March until mid-May. Not able to visit the station? Online orders will be available in the near future.

Special acknowledgement to Walter Sakai, Dr. Kristen Covino, Dr. C. John Ralph and HBBO, and all of our dedicated volunteers.
